Click the ‘BOOK’ button in the top right corner of the website, select your chosen dates and accommodation option, and then pay the deposit to secure your place.
After you’ve paid your deposit, we’ll send you a few questions about your motivation for applying, your medical history (e.g. whether you’ve had surgery), and any specific needs you have (e.g. dietary requirements). This helps us tailor your experience to your unique situation. We’re interested in your commitment to learning yoga, not the number of years you’ve been practicing or whether you can hold a certain pose. Our registration process means you’ll be surrounded by other highly committed students who share your motivation to learn.
You will learn to teach Hatha and Yin/Restorative yoga.
No, Vinyasa Flow is a Western distortion of yoga that is really just a fitness practice. If you were to ask Himalayan Yogis what vinyasa flows are, they wouldn’t even know… We don’t teach over-industrialized, fitness-focused yoga. We teach yoga as it was intended – an ancient practice of self-realization and inner peace.
Our teacher training is delivered in English.
We accept a maximum of 20 students per course.
Of course, the majority of our students come alone. You’ll be in good company with like-minded people throughout the course. Most of our students choose the shared bungalow option but sole occupancy is available for an additional fee (see pricing section).
Yes, you’ll have two days off during the course plus free time during extended lunch breaks and evenings.
Most days start at 07:00 and finish around 18:00. You can find an example schedule near the bottom of our 200-hour yoga training page.
Bring comfortable, loose, unstitched clothing – cotton and raw silk are best. Ideally white, yellow, orange, or red, which are the solar colours we traditionally use as yoga practitioners. We’ll provide mats, blocks, and any other equipment needed for the program. Slip-on shoes (such as sandals and flip-flops) can be useful as you’ll need to remove your shoes before entering most Thai establishments.
We ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your place. If you would like to change your program dates, we will try our best to accommodate but can’t guarantee there will be availability.
Pay your deposit on the booking page using a debit or credit card. We’ll email you when the balance is due (two weeks before the program starts) with a secure link to pay the remainder.
Please pay in full two weeks before arrival (e.g. 4th February for a retreat starting on 18th Feb).
Travel, Accommodation & Meals
Return transfers to and from Phuket International Airport are included in your yoga training package. The journey takes just over an hour. Students don’t need to worry about arranging transport or finding taxis as we take care of your pick-up and drop-off.
Most nationalities are eligible for a 30-day visa on arrival but you should check the rules for your specific country.
Students stay in Thai bungalows with beautifully designed balconies overlooking a serene lake. Learn more about the accommodation and view photos here.
Check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is 12:00.
If you prefer to leave on the final evening to catch a flight (e.g. on the 9th instead of the 10th of March), that’s absolutely fine. Certificates are awarded on the afternoon of the final full day so you won’t miss any teaching time. This won’t affect the price since your accommodation is included for the entire stay, whether you check out on the final night or the next morning.
Yes, your training package includes three meals a day, except on your two days off, when you’ll likely be out and about exploring the local area.
We provide Ayurvedic Sattvic meals tailored to your unique constitution. They are all vegetarian and can be made vegan on request.
Yes, if you have special dietary requirements such as allergies or intolerances, we can cater to those.
Yes, please inform us of your food allergy in advance and we will ensure you have suitable meals.
Yes, there is free wifi throughout the resort.
Thailand has a tropical climate and temperatures tend to vary between 26°C and 33°C.
There are three seasons: the cool season (November to February), the hot season (March to May), and the wet season (May to October). Whichever time you choose to visit, the weather is likely to be hot and humid.
The resort is pet-friendly so you can bring your furry friends along for your stay. However, they won’t be able to join the training itself so will need to stay in your bungalow during school time.
Vaccines aren’t mandatory, but some may be recommended by doctors and travel clinics. Please speak to your doctor or visit your country’s public health website for more information. There is no malaria in Phang Nga so medications for this aren’t necessary (unless you’re planning to travel to other countries afterward).
Join us for three weeks of yoga practice and self-development in paradise…
